Field Guide to Mind Control

Loaded Language

Words chosen for their emotional charge rather than their accuracy.

How it controls you

The emotion arrives before the evaluation. A "regime" and a "government" can be the same thing, but you feel differently about each before a single fact lands. Loaded words smuggle a verdict inside a description, so you inherit an opinion while believing you just read a fact.

Spotted in the wild

"regime" instead of "government"
"slammed" instead of "criticized"
"gutted" instead of "reduced"
